Pink & Blue Ribbon
The pink and blue ribbon used by the John W. Nick foundation was created in 1996 by Nancy Nick to let people know that "Men Get Breast Cancer Too!"
In 1997, the Foundation held a fashon show "Not for Women Only" in Vero Beach, Florida using this as a theme. Local United States Marines attended the fashon show. The Marines and the John W. Nick Foundation held the pink and blue ribbon and shouted, "Men Get Breast Cancer Too!" From that time, the Foundation has continued to use the pink and blue ribbon as a symbol of this message.
The Foundation encourages other breast cancer organizations and anyone else interested in raising awareness of Male Breast Cancer to use this ribbon.
